Maybe he was an SOB to live with, I personally never met the man and yet I mourn his passing. Not because it is a loss to me directly but it is a loss to our culture.
I read the article in the newspaper where his estranged daughter (who had NOT seen him since age 2?) was quotes as saying something along the lines of “He went out in a blaze of glory. Flipping his finger as he went”.

I might have to do some of my own research and pick up the slack where he left off… Can’t let something like moonshinin’ leave our culture.
